Given the sensitive nature of our customer’s data TalentFirst has taken the strongest possible measures to ensure a very high level of security to our systems and databases.

The primary server and data center location is a steel/reinforced concrete structure that requires Indentix Biometric finger scanners and proximity cards to gain access. 18 High definition security cameras with 24hr. digital recording and 90 day digital video storage monitor the site. All equipment resides in a locked steel cage. Sensitive equipment is hardened using industry-standard best practices. Prior to deployment, all systems are brought from a completely unknown state of security to a hardened state using various measures such as (but not limited to) mapping, vulnerability testing, password cracking, vulnerability patching, firewall tuning, instrumentation, etc. System security integrity is maintained at all times through back-ups and configuration management.

Access to the systems managed by TalentFirst is secured and audited at all times. Authorized TalentFirst personnel have their access restricted only to those systems where access is required for their particular job function. All access to those systems must be made through remote access for purposes of traceability and auditability. Only certain personnel are authorized to access specific types of information and transactions. Password changes on a periodic basis are enforced to ensure that only authorized people are allowed into the system. There are regular reviews of proper access. TalentFirst’s security policies include a periodic log audit, terminated employee review, and processes and procedures for terminating access in the event of a security breach.

Additionally, TalentFirst uses the following procedures for further strengthening our security infrastructure:

Data encryption is offered for the transmission of all outbound files.

128bit SSL encryption is offered for all Web transactions.

Signature-based Intrusion Detection systems are implemented at the Web and application layers for active system behavior monitoring.

All systems are hardened and audited according to industry best practices prior to deployment in Production.

All tiers in Production are isolated by firewalls.
