Integration is the ongoing process of putting an infrastructure in place, so that an integrated solution can be created and maintained to allow TalentFirst and its clients or partners to easily deploy new or changing business processes that rely on IT.
The TalentFirst Integration Platform provides a crucial link between a corporate Human Resources Information System (HRIS)—including SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle and others— and Talentfirst to allow for the seamless transfer of new hire data from the application into the HRIS and to accept requisition and organizational data into the back into the application. Integration eliminates a pain point in the hiring process and further extends the functionality TalentFirst provides to automate the hiring process for the greatest efficiency.

True integration supports new or changing business processes and facilitates the completion of actions initiated through an HRIS. This can include non-integrated HRIS and external staffing business processes sharing the same data infrastructure and integrated HRIS and external staffing business processes.

Infrastructure

The TalentFirst Integration Platform provides the complete infrastructure necessary to ensure seamless connectivity between Talentfirst and the Client’s HRIS for data interchange and interaction. This includes:

Management of transport protocol (E-mail, http, FTP, etc.). .
Management of standard file format exchange (XML, ASCII delimited files, csv, etc.).
Document logging and monitoring.
Guaranteed delivery and feedback mechanisms.
Security.
Mapping and transformation facilities.

Talentfirst manages the logging, transport, mapping, transformation and routing. The application connects to an Integration Service Layer and an Integration Business Layer. The service layer includes functionality for XML processing, managing command request, running integration scripts, and CSM scheduling. The business layer is the transformer that holds the business logic and rules and interacts through an API with the Talentfirst database and the front-end career sections.
